I really don't know, that it why I asked :-)

It appears that the New IMC process has been designed for
IMCs based on regions, but now there are also IMCs being
developed that overlap with other ones (the proposed US
one and the Oceania syndication site), based on themes
(biotech and climate) and now also ones based on media
types -- european newsreal.

I have copied this to the new-imc list since it's probably
something for that list to discuss...
