As you said, you have *not* followed the discussion, but many other people
*have* followed the discussion, and nobody asked for any more modifications
to the text.

i don't see any justification in violating a consensus decision on 
a sensitive issue.

Please either REMOVE the DNS entry for cancun, or else point it to 
a splash page with a PROMINENT (OBVIOUS) NOTICE that

(3a) there is not yet any local indymedia group in Cancun
(3b) that locals are encouraged to get organised if they wish, with
a link to http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/NewImcHowTo or an [es]
version of the page

If you are unable to put this text yourself, you could at least remove
the DNS allocation. The splash page itself could be on any host, it
doesn't need to be fancy.
