i think this is the critical piece. rather than ad hoc and then alot of people don't even know about all the cool projects, they are anounced to the network. maybe that is imc process and then added to the "cities" list in the imc projects section.
announcing it is key.
these are also the kinds of things that could be highlighted in a global feature talking about the indymedia network. so that not just WE know about it, but others in the larger world know about it.
