We are a group of majority Arab women from the United Arab Emirates who are opposed to capitalism, Islamic fundamentalism and U.S./western imperialism. We believe that in a strict country with Islamic law and shared control by emirates, this is an amazing accomplishment to start.

introductory_statement:
We believe that the time is critical for an Arab dissident voice beyond Palestine in the Indymedia network and western left as a whole. We want to help bring regional reporting from the Arab world of an anti-capitalist viewpoint. We are excited to work with other Arab IMCs we know of, including IMCs in Palestine and Lebanon. We require a liaison to help us through the new IMC process. We have read the requirements and acquired the complete documents so we can collaborate and make a formal application to Indymedia.
