Hi all,

The Urbana-Champaign IMC has periodically had spamming attacks much like 
IMC-India (though ours have dealt with neo-Nazi propaganda and pure 
spamming).  We utilize the Dada software which allows us to turn our 
newswire from auto-accept all posts to auto-hide all post (so that posts 
must be unhidden to appear on the front page newswire).  We have an active 
web editorial team, so we were able to unhide posts multiple times each 
day (and often within minutes of their being posted).  We also included a 
brief statement of the change on our front page.  We have found that 
within a few days to a few weeks that the spammers move on to other 
targets.

Perhaps this might work for IMC-India,
