This is Jay from the Philadelphia IMC, and also from the new-imc working
group, the group that helps aspiring IMC groups like your own join the
network. I'm glad to hear things are going along well in Louisville!
You probably have already looked through the new-imc documents, but if not,
you can find much of what you need to know at:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/NewImcHowTo. That page should give
you a decent step-by-step idea of the way to proceed. Sounds like you're
just at the beginning of organizing, which is great. Take your time, do
things right, and I'm sure you'll come up with something wonderful.
Feel free to send along any questions you may have to the
new-imc at indymedia.org working group and we'll try to answer them.
