Heihei! Nice to hear from you this soon. Now a little emphasis that I forgot to make, while the application of imc-egypt will be going through the process of becoming an approved imc, any mail you send to me or anyone that contacts you from the new-imc working group, do not forget to cc the working group so that the others know how your are  going along the process. The email again is new-imc at lists.indymedia.org 

Nice idea about meeting; after the meeting I'll advice you to ask for a mailing list for imc-egypt. IMC-egypt folks will use  the  mailing list for communication. But this also will provide a place were other imc activists interested in knowing how imc-egypt is going with it's process can click in on the archives. Thus after your meeting if there is a group of ppl that come out of the meeting determined to be involved in imc-egypt, Discuss with them what the steps that will follow after the meeting are .
Which will be someting like a mailing list. And more discussions with other groups and individuals. This is called in indymedia jagons outreach. This is very very iimportant as you remember, an imc is intended community  based. The conviction held is that if and imc has it's roots in the community then it will be more efficient and serve the community rather than a clique of computer freaks and middle class individuals who can afford online access.

So after your meeting write to new-imc at lists.indymedia.org and ask for an imc-egypt mailing lists. It will be created and the password and the link to the admin interface sent to you.
