i fully understand that indymedia is not a website, or to rephrase what you
said i fully understand that indy media is not just a website. im sry if i
came across at first as if i wanted to take on everything myself but i
guarentee you that i now have more than 5 people actively involved in
organizing the meeting, with an expected show up so far of about 20-30
people the list of people attending is steadilly increasing, we do not have
a solid date but it will be withing three weeks, could i possiby get the
contact information for the people who were behind the first two attempts to
create an imc-egypt? i would like to talk with them and maybe we could merge
together at the meeting, i also fully understand the idea of a collective
approach which is why i have done so much to reach out beyond our school,
ive contacted one mosque and two different churches, we have the american
univercity in cairo, and the list of affiliates so far is growing but
nothing big to mention
one program our school currently runs is called ais for egypt kid go around
helpimg the country out
alot of ais staff memvbers are interested and would be more than glad to
stay after school for the meeting if it is allowed by the school, this is
something i have not gotten a confirmation on, i hope we can find out why
the first two attempts to create an imc egypt have failed
i do not know who was behind the first two attempts to create an imc egypt,
but it seems all the people ive talked to regarding the creation of imc
egypt are eager to learn alot more about the process, i keep directing them
to the right websites
thank you for your valuable time
i just hope you can forgive me for being individualistic in the beginning
