hi kristen/big muddy, new-imc

excellent that you already have a statement and have agreed to the
principles of unity! i'll try to help you through the rest of the process
as best i can. give me a nudge now and again if i'm not on top of my game
;)

the next thing your group will want to look at is the membership criteria.
these are, as the name implies, the standards that should be met for a
group wanting to become an IMC. they are viewable here:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/MembershipCriteria

you'll have to work with your group to make sure you meet all these, or
let us know if there's something you think should be changed about them.
i (as your sponsor) will also discuss this stuff with you to make sure it
seems like you're on the right track.

for an overview of this whole process you're going through, look here:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/NewImcHowHelpUs

best of luck, and feel free to email me off-list with any questions you
have about the process or any information about your group i might like to
know.
