[New-imc] this list

Hoi,

I don't think it is completely stealing our time, because apparently and 
repeatedly local IMCs are not able to solve their problems, and as 
volunteers we should also be there to offer help when we are asked. The 
question is where. In this case problably better on conflict resolution or 
on imc-process if it has reached the stage of a proper proposal.

I think this partly concerns this list, as we approved of a new imc 
trusting a mediation agreement between the groups/individuals in question, 
and now we have to learn that this agreement is not followed up. Maybe we 
should have applied a 3 months trial period as we did with QC now. But for 
the rest I suppose if at all decissions like that on indymedia.org domains 
should be taken on imc-process.

But I don't think that it makes any sense to continue this discussion here. 
It looks like the individuals in question agreed on having a mediator, and 
certainly you still need one. This task can not done by new-imc. Would you 
trust the earlier mediator to look through the list and decide what has 
been fulfilled and what hasn't? Would you trust anybody/any group within 
indymedia to judge on that and to take consequences about the indymedia.org 
domain name?

I suppose for now this will be my last mail on this issue on this list, but 
if I can help I'm up to it.
