[New-imc] this list

Hello New-IMC,

I also agree that this discussion does not belong
here. It was never my intention of disrupting this
list by posting the mediation agreement.

What does concern me however, is that a new IMC was
approved, and was given another groups domain name:
sf.indymedia.org

I do have an issue with this. Basically, our IMC site
was taken from our collective, and now people on this
list are telling us there is nothing anyone in
Indymedia can do. Well, I don't believe that. I don't
think it is right, or fair to the Bay Area community
or all the people that have put in time working on
sf.indymedia.org.

Where Indymedia domain names are pointed is a global
Indymedia network decision. This is not something we
can work out on a local level. Perhaps we need to find
a new process to deal with disputed domain names?

Again, I do not think a flame war should happen on
this list... but, to just send the discussion to
us-process is not going to solve anything either. I
still contend that the new San Francisco IMC
application should be voided, and the domain
sf.indymedia.org should be returned to *everyone* it
was originally given to.

Thank you for your time and patience with us.

Lisa
