It's good to hear that you are safe and still interested in 
our activities. I hope all of the intensive studying is 
productive for you!

The eyes of the whole world are on what the resistance is 
doing in Iraq. The courage of the people, and the 
determination to fight for freedom is helping to tie down 
the global Imperial Monster in a series of tactical defeats 
on the battleground and popular uprisings in the cities, in 
a way that has not happened since the war in Vietnam. The 
Beast has already needed to revise all of its troop rotation 
schedules, and to entirely revise the status of its military 
occupation of Korea. A section of influential members among 
the ruling class within the US, are beginning to be afraid 
that the Empire is slipping down into a hole of quicksand.

I will forward your letter (below) to the new-imc work- 
group, since I know all of us there are eager and excited 
with the idea that a local indymedia group might form in 
Baghdad through your efforts. Your news are of great 
interest to all of us.

Have you met any other people interested in helping out? I 
wanted to encourage you again to communicate with us in the 
new- imc group, as often as you like, for discussing how to 
build the group in Baghdad or about anything else you think 
is relevant. We can help you with exchanging ideas and 
suggestions, especially about how to do this work safely and
efficiently.

hey everybody,
sorry for being disconnected from the outworld.... I havent 
been out of the house for the last 60 days...
just studying..
GOD, that cannot be any more boring?
anyway, just wanted to thank you all folks for doing what 
you are doing now .... we all appreciate it.

just wanted to inform everybody that, as soon as i finish my 
finals, I'm gonna start a tour in Baghdad, [colleges, 
intellectual places, writers, etc...], the tour would be 
much more like a breif workshop about freedom of expression, 
almuajaha, and maybe Indymedia.

I would be thankful if any native arab speaker from 
Indymedia would be willing to join me here in baghdad, for a 
one week tour.... just to help me sorting things out.
