introductory_statement:
We are independent video activists, it has come to our attention that people who had been running the chapter of indymedia montreal have given up their support for the project and we feel compelled, given our interests and our abilities to resume the project.

resources:
We know how to operate a website, including cgi scripts, databases, etc. We can host material on server space we already have and can provide approx. 10gb a month.

outreach:
We\'ve had contact and worked with the cmaq.net (quebec imc) crew when we were shooting a video. And we collaborated with indymedia montreal when it existed. We\'ve also had some contact with Chiapas imc on a trip aswell as NYC imc crew. Our video (http://montreal.indymedia.org/local/webcast/uploads/wto-xvid-med.avi)  was picked up by Michael Eisenmenger who was one of the main producers of kilometer zero (movie on the cancun protests) We\'ve also had contact with AIRE (Accion informacion en resistencia). As a side project we are currently operating openmedia.ca.

We\'re only two people starting this indymedia from scratch. We hope to gain recognition among activists. Were building it up. We have no organization but we expect to generate and build up momentum. We will make it a priority to attract and involve as large and as diverse a collective as we can.
