[New-imc] Sketch of the proposal to IMC Valparaiso

This is a sketch of  the proposal that I intend to present in order to overcome the present stalemate on the IMC Valparaiso application. I would like to know the opinion of the other members of the new-imc group about it, and to ask you to to make any  (concrete) suggestions and contributions that you find helpful. Please feel free to do so. If you don't have reserves and agree with it, I will then translate it to Spanish and send to Valparaiso, to imc-process, to imc-women and to imc-latina.

PROPOSAL:

 

- IMC Valparaiso will actively seek more outreach in the group, by, for instance, contacting minorities movements in Valparaiso and inviting them to take part in the IMC.

- IMC Valparaiso will recognize that work division is an issue and constantly seek to improve it (see Mike's comments - http://lists.indymedia.org/pipermail/new-imc/2004-May/005156.html )

- IMC Valparaiso will discuss periodically these issues in its meetings, e.g. in a monthly basis

- IMC Valparaiso will send within three months a report of what has been done in this area. If three months after the approval of the proposal IMC Valparaiso doesn't comply with these requirements, its affiliation to the network may be cancelled by the imc-process group. We will ask the help of other IMCs in Chile to assist them and to verify if these recommendations are being followed.

- This proposal may be blocked or amended by IMC Valparaiso itself, if they don't agree with it. If no one blocks the proposal, IMC Valparaiso will be considered approved in imc-process.

- Deadline: one week from its presentation
