Marhaba mohojay,

Thanks for your reply.

It sounds like you're on the right direction.
As long as you make sure to keep the process oriented toward
embracing a collective character, and generating a group-
sense, things will go well.

Please don't rush. Take your time to link up with as many
progressive and radical organizations as possible.

Also, Egypt is a very large country, and there are some
regional particularities, it might make sense to begin by
narrowing the identity of the group somewhat, or narrowing
the scope of the project, to city-wide identity. Are yo
mostly based in Cairo? Your group might become the imc-Cairo
group, if things work out.

Many millions of people are in Cairo, so even that is a
large bite to chew on, for a beginning. So please allow
yourselves time for dialogue, time to define shared
political and social values, and also to clarify
disagreements among yourselves, so that there will be no
surprises later.

I've enrolled you in the imc- eastern-mediterranean email
discussion group, as you had requested (but not on the
tech-related email group. The scope of our talk now is not
technical, yet.)

I still think that you should contact our Arabic- speaking
colleagues in imc-Beirut, Raida and Imad whom I had
mentioned earlier (I'll send you their email addresses
separately). They are experienced and committed imc activists.

Goog luck,
Petros
