Here's attached the invitation that I sent to the Bulgarian
Anarcho-Resistance official email address anarchy at bulgaria.com from
their own website http://resistance.hit.bg
They didn't respond. However, 6 months later someone from a different
email address claims:

We have looked for other groups
and people to cooperate with for realization of
Indimedia Bulgaria, but finally we decided to start
this project alone (with individuals from some
environmental groups), because there were no other
serious interested people and groups. We hope that
after starting of this project more people will be
involved.

Invitation to Participate, Call for Action
We're a group that coordinates the work on Bulgarian branch of the
Independent Media Center Network (IMCN), which unites thousands of
freelance journalists and activists worldwide. Indymedia is an
alternative source of information which is neither controlled by any
corporation or government, nor is a mouthpiece of any party or organization.
Indymedia started in 1999, in order to cover protests against the World
Trade Organization which came to be known as "the battle of Seattle".
Now IMCN comprises more than 150 Independent Media Centers, committed to
the principles of equality, decentralization and autonomy. The network
is not derived from a centralized bureaucratic process of hierarchical
or authoritarian structures, but rather it's based on self organization
of autonomous collectives which consider open exchange of and open
access to information a prerequisite to the building of a more free and
just society.
The future IMC Bulgaria has also set specific Bulgarian agenda,
including educational and instigative goals in the esteemed traditions
of our national Revival. Botev's journalism and Levski's organizational
skills are our milestones. We strive to preserve our national identity
under the political, economical and cultural pressure of corporate
globalization and imperial militarism.
This is an invitation to participate and a call for action! If you want
to take part in this project, contact us at
imc-bulgaria at lists.indymedia.org . If you know someone holding similar
views and ideals, you can forward this invitation to them. Mostly, we
are looking for volunteers who are translators (mainly English) or have
some journalistic skills and experience, but also comrades already
involved in some forms of politic activism. Of course, anyone who wish
to land a hand will be welcome too.
