[Seattle-editorial] concerted program / what are we here for?/can you commit to making media?

Good day, 

I just had a long phone conversation with David Smith of Palestine Solidarity, whom I met at the most recent John Reese event in our space.

Currently there are two (local) folks in Gaza sending out letters of information.  There are also audio materials available, describing conditions, the rules for those living there....David describes it as situations not even imposed on Black Americans before integration.

The center of our conversation was how to create an effective voice in media (any and all, with indy only a single piece) and start the needed re-evaluation in the minds of Americans.

Jan 2 and 3 bring 2 events with McDermott here in Sea.  I would love some assaistance and coordination with others to cover these.  I would love some help writing for the features section.  I would love some help strategizing for wider media presence- help lauching letterwriting, contacts at the local/national papers, our local radios..., perhaps accessing venues for community speaking events.

Big job description but it can be done in small bites.  Please contact me if you are interrested in helping.
