This kicks ass! As a graphic designer I am very
impressed with the quality of the work. I want a copy
but am sure the Times has pulled them already.
I would like to work with you to get it as a feature
NotRealByTheWay. We can just put it up as a feature
piece by itself, but I think it would be interesting
to see if any of the dailies or weeklies commment on
it. What does everyone think about holding off to see
if and how others comment on it?
NotRealByTheWay: If we post it immediately, we need
some introductory text to lead in to a link to the
piece. You seem to have very good writing skills and
it wouldn't have to be long, just enough to grab
people's attention so they click on the link.
Directions for writing a feature are at
http://seattle.indymedia.org/editorial-intro.php3
under the heading "Feature Articles". If the
instructions aren't clear please let me know as we
just posted these instructions to encourage people to
submit their own features and haven't had anyone give
us feedback on them. It is really not as hard as it
seems plus once you've learned how it will be a snap
next time.
Thanks,
Lance
PS To the editorial Collective: I noticed that when
you click on the article, at the bottom you see "The
Seattle Crimes - Police Brutality Issue (full story)".
When you click on this link it then shows the
comments. Shouldn't the comments just appear below the
body of the article?
