Follow-up thought on title & subtitle suggestion. How about --

SUBTITLE: POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY - CREATIVE COMMUNITY ACTION
TITLE: "Seattle Crimes" hits the streets; PCJ holds "People's Vote"

===========================

Thumbs up! --- I have a couple of suggested changes:

* Regarding the title, I think there's some potential confusion over the
phrase "vote of confidence". In my understanding, and in a quick search
online, a "vote of confidence" is used to describe a feeling/attitude or
the result of an actual vote/decision (in the affirmative) .....rather than
the event of getting that result. People call for a vote of confidence, or
a vote of no confidence (which PCJ does within its own posting - "A vote
for no confidence is a vote for justice."). I don't think there's a
neutral "vote of confidence" that someone takes in a situation -- as in
"Let's take a vote of confidence here", that either results in confidence
or no-confidence. That's my take on it -- feel free to offer opposing views.

My suggestions for the title and subtitle are:

Subtitle: POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY - TAKING CREATIVE ACTION
Title: "Seattle Crimes" hits the streets; PCJ holds public poll

* "Folks ...... read with interest ...." - I don't think we know or can
assume that. How about "Folks ... may have read with interest" ... or "may
have been surprised by" ....

That's all .... thanks for pulling this together!
