[Seattle-editorial] Features workshop this Thurs 6:30

Hi folks. I'm offering a features workshop this Thursday. I hope a few 
experienced feature-writers will be able to help by: identifying a good 
featureable story, a lead and some associated links, and coming to the 
workshop ready to buddy up with a trainee.

Please let me know if you are willing to help out on Thurs.

IMC FEATURE-WRITING WORKSHOP
THURSDAY, 18 JULY, 6:30-8PM

While anyone can post stories to the IMC website at seattle.indymedia.org, 
the site's center-column Features are selected, written or edited by a 
group of IMC volunteers, the Editorial Collective.

We encourage any interested journalists, activists or IMC readers to learn 
more about how feature stories are selected and written, and to become 
participants in this process.

This Thursday at 6:30pm, join Seattle IMC Editorial Collective volunteers 
for a workshop focusing on producing features for the IMC website.

Feel free to bring a feature idea or proposal to work on during the 
training course.

The IMC is located at 1415 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle (between Union 
and Pike). Thursdays are media production night; mediamakers gather 
informally from 6-9pm to plan media coverage or to work on various projects 
in the IMC's media lab.
