hey all,

I just posted an article to the seattle wire about the Doctors Without Borders
Access to Essential Medicines EXPO. The EXPO was in Portland last week and this
post is an article I wrote up about it, with photos:

When I told the EXPO staff that we were writing a story for Indymedia they got
all excited, and brought us to the press people who said, "Oh great, we've been
trying to get into Indymedia!" (I guess they meant get into the features
section, since anyone can post to the newswire.)

They are hoping to get more coverage from other IMCs as the tour goes across the
country. Doctors without Borders is a pretty cool organization, and they're
international, so I think this sounds like a great idea. So I'm passing the
word along here.

The EXPO will be in Seattle Aug. 1-4, on the waterfront. If you want to arrange
a press tour or set up interviews with the volunteers ahead of time, contact
Lorna Chiu or Amelia Pan at 310.277.2793 (office) or 310.200.8388 (mobile).
