[Seattle-editorial] Changing colors and graphics, finally

Hey,

Thanks for getting this put together.  I like the design.  It seems to 
lean pretty strongly towards the SFActive look, which begs the question 
again of us making the leap to new code in addition to a new look.  The 
mock up that Jonathan has done is much more 'put-together' than what we 
have now and I like that.  It's quite a bit visually softer than what we 
have and I'd like to retain some of that sense.  I know that it would be 
extremely easy to derail any discussion of design change with any number 
of detail debates, including color scheme, but that's my two cents anyway.

For the sake of debate, I recall that Brandon put together another mock 
up of a re-design which, while not as radical of a change, addressed 
some problems.  I can't seem to locate the email with the URL but maybe 
he can repost the info, Brandon?

Also, I'm re-sending the banner that was sent to the list as a 
siggestion awhile back.  I'm not necessarily proposing this banner but 
it's nice and should be seen.
