IMHO
As for advertising afinity group actions...nix...advertise what asks or we know wants to be known before hand. As one mail today said--keep your afinity gp agenda to yourself- we dont even want to hear.. or words very close to this.

So, yes, the actions that are sponsored, advertised, open to public YES YES YES

But- afinity groups don't list in the yellow pages, they are not and should not, be opened to the general public to find.

Thos who want to be there, find the way there. I think we should let it be that way. We can perhaps....rummor of such, perhaps some general topics, but no detail is what I would hope. Don't want the wrong people showing to plan, or ready to prevent.

On the other side of what is coming-- I hope we can support the idea of a NON CONFRONTATION celebration, perhaps talk about how the peace movement has injected some differences of ambience into our public events, even the police seem to be more willing to act and think with their good mind..

Walt, who never ever even jaywalks as a political move....for those listening....
