radio buddies,
opsss, i forgot...in terms of sound quality, we have always used the best
sound blaster live sound card. we have no money, and are running our
station on a bank of "dumpster dive" computers. paying for our DSL has
been a pain. but when you are pumping it out 24/7 it tends to burn out the
pooters, you catch viruses that wipe out the entire network. this is also
true of sound cards, we just fried our sound card and must raise $200 for
a new sound card.
this is a long way of saying...if you are going to do web radio you cannot
skimp on the sound card if you want a good sound folk are goimg to return
to.
