Here is the weeks content of meaningful posts to Seattle, mostly press release stuff. Analysis of the injunction (REMEMBER its against the employee for a lockout, its NOT against the union for walking out. Plewase lets emphasise this point? Job w Justice supplies some issues baclkground (5 dead in speedups...) and International solidarity, which might just well go beyond the East Coast Longshoremen and their interest, being under a separate union coalition, and different contracts also (divide and conquer?)Remember thge posts about North European Docks embargoing Israel some months back? There are whispers of an Iraq War byoycott on this coast. Though it would be hell to practice here at home, perhaps this could be realized by judicious suggestion...
