[Seattle-editorial] feature for next weekend: break the blackout feature?

hi folks,

jay from imc philly is part of the organizing crew for the break the 
blackout conference (see link below) that's happening next weekend. 
he's asking local editorial collectives to put up a feature for next 
weekend so this could be a coordinated effort across the network.  as 
he mentions below, he's received good responses from a number of 
collectives who will be doing features.  this is something we've 
talked about many times here locally and on the network level in 
terms of jump starting our coordinating on coverage.  so we could 
really use our whole network resource with greater impact and 
leverage.  i believe this is using our resources more strategically. 
susan and i have talked about this as well many times.

this could be a good trial run for us to do something along the same 
lines for october 19 and beyond....

i'm assuming this would be no problem for us and we can add our name 
to the growing list of yeah we'll jump on board.  i think jay's going 
to then send another email as it gets closer saying here are the imcs 
who will be participating, please join us.....

what do people think?
