Stupid me just keeps asking questions of people I've never met. Sometimes it brings answers. Sometimes it brings problems to the people I ask......
Anyway, this financial liason now has a better idea of $$$divisions and segregations. And he knows the scoop with the imc mails server. But there is also a film and audio server "that we have been using for some time." I wonder who in seattle, who in Seattle media work- knows. Is this a techie open secret?
Lets please give consideration to response #3: how can Seattle help the wonderful people who have helped us?

IMC-tech has its own bank account that we manage.

Don't worry about it, it has nothing to do with seattle :)

I don't understand the question. What server are you talking about?
Are you referring to the server that we put $150 towards at the
seattle community colo? If so, that server is for all the IMC mailing
lists and aliases. There is a server available for film and audio that
we have been using for some time.

There is a lot that can be done! Tell people to switch their dialup or
DSL to them (they can actually do this nationally), if they say they
got it because they help the IMC, then they will use that as credit.
Advertising, in whatever way the IMC is capable seems appropriate
(perhaps as sponsors or allies or something)... in terms of other
help, there is work that needs to be done at the colocation facility,
and there are a handful of techies from seattle who had volunteered to
do it, but it needs to be organized.
