Please correct the date of the event though, as it is August 22nd, not
the 23rd. My original draft had a typo.

Sincerely

Subject: Re: [Seattle-editorial] Revised Proposal: Free Speech Zones

Hi everyone.

Gentry, thanks for picking this up and doing some work on it. I'd like
to see the satirical article (of the original proposal) back in here,
even if you think the satirical tone should be dispensed with for the
feature. How about replacing the lead sentence with:

While Dubya visits Western Washington this weekend, he may have a hard
time hearing the cries of protesters, many of whom will likely be
corralled into so-called <a
href="http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=31490">"Free
Speech Zones."</a>

Other than that, I like it. Maybe make some more of the text hot-linked
to newswire articles referring to the various protests (one includes a
Medina map I think).

Everyone knows I think it's better to avoid citing mainstream sources,
but I'm not going to raise an objection. I approve Gentry's proposal
with the change I suggested above.

Jonathan
