It looks like the password we all know and love is working again for
newswire administration, and Stefani thinks it should be working again for
features.cgi. (it doesn't yet, but I've let her know and she will fix the
problem when she has time I guess).
When I spoke to her about it, she seemed as though she felt conflicted
between two opposing perspectives... I don't know what happened re. the
password change, but there should be no doubt as to the proper process for
controlling website changes. The Editorial Collective has authority over
website design and access issues--any changes to the passwords we use or
design changes should be discussed by this group before being implemented
by us.
As Judy points out, this working group is functional.. (btw I would
probably add Jeremy and Susan to the list of active editorial folks--we've
seen feature comments and/or features from both of them in the
not-so-hoary past, and Jeremy is our list admin to boot).

The password to the website has been changed. I spoke to Jonathan about this
and he tried the password and it didn't work for him either. He has
contacted Tech and it appears tech knows something about the change but it
was not clear why it was being changed.
