let's not get into subversion and personal alliances here unless we
really want to blow this wide open right now. I'm pretty comfortable
with how I can stand in that conversation. Are you interested in
creating inclusive healing or furthering the split. Editiorial can
weather this and maintian the only continuity available to us as a
collective until the broader collective can heal, re-evaluate, re-vision
and so forth. Yes the split is real. but the functionality of the ed
group can be a cause for hope.
my new IMC mantra is "Sabbatical"
has Jonathan been writing features and following list?
trying to maintain some sense of normalcy while Rome is burning?
this whole thing about attending meetings is bogus. the space is so
toxic right now that it is unreasonable to demand that people show up
there for some stamp of approval. please see my email to imc-seattle
yesterday for opinion on usefulness of us/them mentality. we all know
there has never been a solid definition of membership anywhere in the
IMC and the ed group has based it's eval of it on participation.
claiming it now is a political maneuver and I call foul. inflexibility
leads to more fighting and a halt of progress. Or do you think the
password should be changed with no discussion at all?
let's keep talking together. editorial meetings are necessary right now
yes. keep it on editorial topic though. the general meeting is where
the factions can either hash it out or die trying.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jonathan resigned from editorial. Why is he
now again considered an active member? Has he attended meetings? Has he
been helping the collective?
