[Seattle-editorial] password

He still has password access is all and has lately posted to the website. You are right he did resign last summer and has not attended any meetings since then. The active members have not considered him active for sometime.

Despite being inactive, Jonathan has held onto password privileges and has greater access to the website than anyone currently on editorial, that's why I contacted him.

Perhaps that shouldn't have been the case, perhaps that power and knowledge should have been transfered over to others who were more actively involved in editorial, so it could be clear who was doing what. Right now we are dealing with problems of structure in the IMC, or lack of structure, that are so great they have put the Seattle IMC at risk of completely collapsing within itself and they are coming to a head as we try to fix them.

Everytime one crisis is resolved at the IMC, another raises its head; first the mess of the finances and the books that people are having to comb over and set straight; then or concurrently the space and access and on-going theft that was never addressed or openly discussed but had been occurring constantly (our last bookkeeper said money had been unaccounted for ever since she started--sales made on the books but missing when it was time to deposit them); now it's the website we have to resolve.

The structure of the IMC was flimsy and fragile, a difficult place for people to work for any long period of time, volunteers burned out constantly despite a huge love for the IMC. Now just as you try to fix and reinforce any fragile structure, other parts of it end up collapsing and you have to fix those as well.

The website situation, who has passwords, who does not, is another area that needs to be rebuilt.

> The password to the website has been changed. I spoke to Jonathan about this and he tried the password and it didn't work for him either. He has contacted Tech and it appears tech knows something about the change but it was not clear why it was being changed. I called Sheri; Sheri had ask Tech how to put up a banner on the website and thinks the password might have been changed at that point. In fact checking her email she found a vague reference that it had; I was given the new password and called Jonathan with it. I tried the new password it does not work.

> Tech needs to know that the editorial, despite whatever differences of opinion we have, is a working group. We need to know the password for the website. The current members of editorial with password privileges that I know of are:
