[Seattle-editorial] a long-standing member of editorial

Judy,

Thanks for looking into this.

I am also a member of the editorial working group, with
password privileges. I have been an active participant
of this working since it was founded, and I've been one
of the major contributors of feature stories.

Additionally, my contributions over the past years to
this working group include:
* posting others' features
* adding updates to features during news events with a
particularly high volume of postings
* offering editing-feedback on others' features
* training new volunteers in feature production
* monitoring the newswire for posts that violate our
editorial policy
* discussing editorial concerns, and our own editorial
policy in particular, with editorial volunteers at
other IMC's

Clearly, my efforts with the editorial group have been
scaled back, due to the full-time work I began in
March, but I have never announced, anywhere, that I had
an interest in stepping back from the editorial working
group.

Continuing my work with the editorial group is one of
the contributions that I can most easily fit around my
full-time work schedule ... and I anticipate doing so
as long as the seattle.indymedia.org website exists.

Thanks in advance for keeping me on the list,

- Susan

Editorial, The password to the website has been
changed. I spoke to Jonathan about this and he tried
the password and it didn't work for him either. He has
contacted Tech and it appears tech knows something
about the change but it was not clear why it was being
changed. I called Sheri; Sheri had ask Tech how to put
up a banner on the website and thinks the password
might have been changed at that point. In fact
checking her email she found a vague reference that it
had; I was given the new password and called Jonathan
with it. I tried the new password it does not work.

Tech needs to know that the editorial, despite whatever
differences of opinion we have, is a working group. We
need to know the password for the website. The current
members of editorial with password privileges that I
know of are:

Gentry
Judy
Jonathan
Jason
Nathaniel
Walt
Sheri

I know of no one else who has been posting or editing
the website. It is probably time for a password
change. But the six of us need to be informed of the
current password now. Judy
