[Seattle-editorial] proposal to imc's from miami activist defense

There was a feature that was on the indymedia.org site and is still on
others of a call for video footage of the G8 summit. The Miami Activist
Defense (MAD) is making a proposal that a similar feature be put up on
imc's around the states pertaing to a call for evidence from mad.

If would be incredibly helpful if the there was a photo/icon that could be
clicked on and then the call would read something like this:

The Miami Activist Defense needs your evidence.

Miami Activist Defense needs your testimonies, photos, and particularly
VIDEO footage in preparing for the mass defense and civil litigation. We
are working with both the Miami Public Defenders and the National Lawyers
Guild.

There are 26 defendants facing serious felony charges, as well as hundreds
facing misdemeanor charges. There is nothing more useful than VIDEO
footage, as well as testimonies from eye witnesses and photos that are more
useful in getting charges dismissed.

This information is also incredibly useful in our preparations for civil
litigation against the Miami police department and others for their
brutality on the streets, in the jails, and denying people their civil
rights.

If you or you know of someone with video footage from the Miami protests,
please make a copy and send it to us right away. Other evidence(photos,
eye-witness statements and contacts, etc) should also be sent ASAP.  Please
do this and encourage others you know who have evidence to do the same.  We
can't stress this enough.  Please do it now.
