sounds good. both sites.
perhaps an additional paragraph that just draws attention to the local information liberation issues and/or the good guys - seattle wireless and the battles - cable franchise, with link to either the newswire or to reclaim the media story on the cable franchise. to tie it to the local issues facing us.
i can't really do this today. but it could be a short version if someone didn't want to write a longer version.

On the local scene, similar struggles are being waged to protect our information and our access to information. [link cable franchise, etc.]. Numerous local independent media [link to the page off seattle imc/rtm] exist to counter the corporatization of information and other organizations have established themselves to take current technology and use it in the public interest [link seattle wireless, etc.]
