[Seattle-editorial] a few changes on site

Most the links for older stories from the frontpage remain broken. Is there
a way to fix this? Is everyone aware of this problem?

i've added a link at the bottom of the newswire on the front page, to the
"newswire archive"

i've also edited the template to generate that newswire archive.  it needs
clean up, but mostly follows the site design.
