[Seattle-editorial] COVERAGE: Press Conf tomorrow on INS Registration

Hi folks,

Any chance that someone could be available tomorrow to take notes, photos,
video or audio of this press conference?

The INS Registration issue is an important one, and our local Hate Free
Zone group has been doing a tremendous amount of activism around it.

I've been meaning/hoping to get a feature up about this issue for ages ...
I'm a little horrified that it's taken me this long, and still no
feature. There's lots of good material already in the newswire archives
(posted by Hate Free Zone and others) on this issue if someone wants to
jump in and take up the feature-making on this.

I'll be out of town Fri through Sunday, back Sunday evening.

Ideally, I'm hoping we can get features up shortly (it's been a month
afterall) on:
* Anti-war activism, focus on SNOW
* INS Registration
* Somali round-up and deportation (and the national class action suit that
started here in Seattle, thanks to Perkins Coie)
* King County cable franchise issues (and possible public hearing on Jan 17).

Any progress on these issues, even a collection of good links, would be
appreciated. Thanks all!!!

- Susan
