I second the need for hiding that post. Goto Jason.
Also, would anyone care to tell me why I still can't post to the newswire? I
wrote this question last week, and no one responded. I will call up the
mistake again, if anyone can help.

On grounds that it violates our "safe space" principle only construable as
a hate attack on Corrie's supporters. 2-sentence post consists of nothing
else.

This is a pretty common sort of failure.
I was going to include a reference to the last time it happened to me, when
an item I wrote (about an arrest I saw happen on a bus) failed to post
properly, but the search function doesn't work very well today.
So instead, here's the error I get from the search button:
search indymedia archives
select medium: any mediumPicturesVideosAudioArticles
search keywords: (leave blank if you wish to browse all entries)
Warning: PostgreSQL query failed: FATAL 1: This connection has been
terminated by the administrator. pqReadData() -- backend closed the channel
unexpectedly. This probably means the backend terminated abnormally before
or while processing the request. in

Dear Seattle Indy Media,
Next Thursday, March 27th, the Global Citizenship Benefit Concert
will be held at Chop Suey in Seattle. I am writing to find out if
it is possible for you to include an article regarding this show,
put it in your calendar, and send around a notice to Seattlites to
come. The funds that are raised will go to support a program that
works with local youth to teach them to be engaged global citizens
through the NW non-profit Global Visionaries (GV).
Four up and coming Seattle bands will be donating their talent to
support the cause- Russian Bride, Love Hotel, popINTERSTATE, and
Old Man Tasty. I would be happy to set up interviews with band
members if you are interested, or another angle might be to
interview the director of Global Visionaries or the youth involved
in the program, many of which just returned from a trip to
Guatemala which is a service learning component of the GV
program. I would be happy to provide you with additional
information and materials including pictures of the bands and/or
pictures from the GV trip to Central America if that would be
useful.
The press release relating to the benefit concert is attached.
Thank you for your help. Please let me know what further
information you require.
Best wishes,
Sierra James
