[Seattle-editorial] FEATURE PROPOSAL: Activists Assess Tactics

Hi folks,

A quick caveat to introduce this feature proposal. We've been remiss in
our  feature coverage of late ... not creating features around the 520
tripod action, and many other things besides. I think that there's more we
can do to support the local activist community, and honor the effort that
people are putting into the newswire. The following feature is extensive,
but really not as long as it will seem here ..... once published (without
all of the html showing), it'll be apparent that it's mostly links.
Because there's been so much debate on local antiwar activist tactics, I
thought it would be useful to see those posts by their names, so that
people could easily refer others to them, rather than a list of numbers
(how i would usually list them, to save space).

Here's the photo I want to use (a smaller version, however):
can't find it quickly ... but it's a protestor at Westlake, lying bloodied
(fake-blood), with others.

Seattle's Emergency Response Network, a pre-planned week of protest events,
scheduled to begin with the onset of Bush's brutal war campaign against
Iraq, kicked into action on Thursday, 20 March.
