Hi all,

Last night I made the following proposal to the collective:

Proposal: Designate The South Grey Wall of the main "Theater Area" of the
Seattle IMC as a Working Group Bulletin Board Space, this is the wall
between the orange wall of the CTC, and the Film Screen

-Working Groups will be encourage to maintain a bulletin board/spot on wall
that conveys the following

1. Who to contact to get involved with the working group
2. Mailing Lists and any other info for getting involved
3. A description of the working group's mission, procedures and processes
4. A calendar of events to get involved with for each working group
5. A sing-up spot for new volunteers

I have created a temporary example on the small blue wall leading into the
office area for the Art Calendar/Art Processes. Feel free to exampand as you
see fit on this idea.

Reasons for this propsal:
-To augment online processes/procedures in the physical space of the IMC,
many new volunteers don't want to sift through info online
-To provide an immediate goto location for volunteers who enter the space to
visually understand how the space works and who to contact to get involved
with different working groups
-To provide a quick goto list of volunteers for specific working groups, and
contact info for space captains and others using the space
-To help new and old volunteers alike

Additionally, it would be great to generate feedback on what processes and
procedures should be listed for the IMC in general. The Principles of unity,
etc. Please send all comments to g at art13.com. As I receive feedback for the
IMC general Bulletin Board (vs Working Groups), I will draw up a formal
proposal.

As the collective consensed on designating the wall last night, please feel
free to anarchistically create boards for your working groups. And finally,
if you received this email as an individual instead of as a working group
list, that means you are the main contact for that working group list...
there are several working groups without lists.

Gentry
