Stephanie,
Thanks,
We would serve our selves well by doing a feature on this.
And Walt, let's see what the good folks at UW ruckus, etc. are up to. They
could provide the Independent Media Corps. (Well you've got to laugh during
wartime-even at stupid stuff.)

Only NYC beats us ini the U.S. Global of course. Ontario is a bit
surprising but BOLIVIA...long odds outside runner finishes in the money.
Is it the topics, the authentic journalism contents? or all that too?
I would love to see us vs the Wa dailies, love to make this a 1 paper---less
town.
I keep thinking of the possibilities if we could do indepth and constant
reporting on the issues close to home.
I keep thinking if we had a crew of 1-2 dozen part time reporters, who did
one or two meeting a month and helped us all in the eternal vigilance
department, setting in on school board planning committees of local parents,
setting in on city police committee meets at ci council, setting in on
county and rail meetings, watching the cop reports, nitewatch homeless stats
(winters on us ) reporting on Paul Allen could give gainful writing
experience, the repeal of worker safety laws needs following...so much to
do....so few inquisitive volunteers helping progressives be eternally
vigilant...
Please consider coming to a volunteer orientation. Even if youd rather do
something other than ask the mayor pointed questions.
