Might as well be having this conversation on the seatech list.

We talked about launching using tweaked versions of the Portland
templates, and that trainings around that tweaking will be a good place to
start learning the Mir tool.

I think the next step is going to be for the editorial team to work on a
feature from the front page letting people know that the website is going
to be in transition, and changing.

Also if someone wanted to include a plea in that feature to cover the cost
of hardware for the new setup (which is incredibly low thanks to m2's
awesome work) that would be useful.  We've already spent $175, and might
spend another $30 finishing building the boxes.
