title: The Historical Ramifications of Conscientious Objectors

text: They went to prison at a time when prisons were still segregated and desegregated them. They went to work in our nation’s mental health facilities at a time when those facilities were abusive and inhumane and lead the movement to improve them. They were founders of the anti-Vietnam War movement. Their actions sparked a variety of social changes. Who were they? World War II conscientious objectors.

“The Good War and Those Who Refused to Fight it” is a documentary that tells their story. It plays at the IMC this Sunday, November 16, at 7:30
