A login could go a long way to increasing the presspass holding pool. As always, I would like to see a different section for these non anonymous and hardworkers (no reposts- just straight journalism) so they have some concrete reward in the work living a longer shelf life.
Oh, outreach the communities and set up a way to get them posted without taking so much of MY TIME and that of I'm sure, some others here. Teach them to post, not submit. Let it be so...please please please
I maintain a BLOCK per "green nazis" being hidden. perhaps some have issues with this topic. I am not alone in crusading this into a wider consciousness and can live with the indeterminance of ferriting out the authors "real intent." It needs light.
I object to hiding the "rant" per current policy, but don't block, as I would like a policy that prohibits such rantings.
till then.

>thanks nathaniel for doing this...i approve as well.
>perhaps we need to do something on the front page about what the open publishing really means and remind people of the editorial guidelines.
>but more than all that i thinkjudy's idea of where some energy could go in terms of the ctc last few months is toward outreach to the community groups, training them on their own terriroty, etc. teach them how they can use the website. etc.

>you know imc la is considering a login for publishing stories and imc nyc went to a moderated newswire.
>perhaps it can be a backburner discussion.
