[Seattle-editorial] Open Publishing Newswire For the Right-Wing Attacks or Progressive News?

Because of our lack of moderation, people like this "analog kid" in this
particular string:

Are increasingly able to create a hostile environment with the Seattle IMC's
current newswire. This hostile environment, when added together with the
likes of Puget Sound Patriot, and the Green Nazi guy, are working
effectively to make our site less useful and ultimately less used by the
Progressive community I believe that we seek to empower.

Compare this post to the same central issue argued about on Portland's IMC:

Portland has a lot of Progressive involvement, where our newswire just
degenerates into name calling.

I think we need to craft an immediate agenda item of becoming more
proactive, and more vigilant in addressing this right wing onslaught. And
also figure out how we address this issue in the longterm

We can do it in several ways... but the threats and name calling on our
newswire is getting out of hand...and has been moving into "unsafe space"
territory, in terms of serving a Progressive community.
