Pseudonyms is a brilliant idea. I do not feel we need to subject
ourselves to undue harassment by people already writing inflamatory
posts. It is about balancing rights...
I will be gone doing a gig in Eugene (I perfrom political comedy) from
tomorrow until late tuesday night so I am going to miss yet another one
of these damned meetings...but getting to the IMC editorial meetings on
tues is on my agenda. I think changes are desperately needed, and it is
good people have begun to take action....I will try my hardest to be
there the week after this tuesday...maybe these things should be
potlucks? WOuld food bring more people to the meetings? I am willing to
bring a dish to that end if anyone is into it...Anyway, I am planning on
coming to the meeting after next when I am back in town.
I am behind on reading all the posts right now, but am wading slowly
through them all today...I just got an email announcement from a welfare
rights group that was sent down from the white house proclaiming oct
12-18 National Marriage PROTECTION Week, and I am gonna try to type out a
short article on that, including info on the new marriage counselor
positions open as job opps at seattle's local welfare offices, the
requirements (as well as funding and purpose) for this job are
outrageous...anyway, hopefully I will get through the postings and send
down an article in time for marriage protection week before I leave
tomorrow morning...keep up all the good work!!!!
