I'm in support of hiding. And I wrote the response.

I would be inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34955&group=webcast

as being clearly not news, and not useful in any other way either, but at
least one other editor has already seen it, commented on it, and left it up,
so I guess I'll leave it alone.

I'm also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34970&group=webcast

but I didn't hide that either, since it's a direct response to something an
editor wrote.

The problem with the "insurrectionary response" concept (which, by the way,
I've always thought was a rather loose and silly use of the word
"insurrection") is that "insurrectionary response" solicits more of the very
crap that we object to in the first place. We're legitimizing this stuff
and its place on our web site by engaging in a dialogue with it.

I'm also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34960&group=webcast

but it looks like somebody else already did.

I was also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34954&group=webcast

for being abusive, pointless, and counterrevolutionary, and I did!

I'm also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34933&group=webcast

("I'll as soon kneecap you as blink if you think its you (God Given?) right
to disabuse the common good. P.S. you probably belong to the objectivists
Ayn Rand Inst, which glorifies selfishness. (It WAS founded by a sexually
frustrated person") oh except it was written by an editor.

I'm also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34929&group=webcast

for being not news & generally being religious B.S., but it's a
women's-issues post by a woman so I'll mind my own business.

I was also inclined to hide

http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=34924&group=webcast

for being (left-wing) content-free abusive B.S., and I did!

And that's about all I can handle right now.
