[Seattle-editorial] Braindamage: The debate of the Trolls

Agree.
I'd sure like to see some articles on how Israel/Palestine (I/P) affect our
local situation.
Example; One can't raise the I/P issue on the SNOW list without many folks
saying leaves Israel alone/it's the heart of the problem.
I'll do a story on that perhaps, but it would be very difficult to do.
Personally, I like the separation of church and state we have in America,
and have a hard time with my long time support of "The Jewish State". I
support the Vatican sometimes too, but it's a religious state, and I have an
aversion to that in Catholic context. Same for Saudi Arabia's 'Home of
Islam' existence.
Religion is so much more important to those who deem it so than nationality,
by and large, that the two are like mixing mud and gold. I like mud, but
come on.
I suppose it is incumbent on us to explain the newswire changes, that they
are administrative, and partly a symptom of our outdated code.
Joseph

I already saw it on the newswire, and liked your reply to it--excellent.
I'm opposed to making it a feature article -- too much navel gazing. Here's
someone with a pet cause that's upset that we don't let the newswire be
overrun with her/his material. My pet cause is feminism but I'm not filling
the wire with feminist stories (but there's a thought :)) I'm getting kind
of sick of the whole topic. Of course that's never stopped anyone from
carrying it on. :))
