Members,

I support the transition to SFACTIVE as the new codebase for SEAIMC.

Hi, I wanted to write and clear up some things regarding sf-active. I
work with San Francisco IMC and other indymedia's, and also am a core
developer for sf-active.

sf-active can run with the pre-sorted categories (local/global/other)
or without. In addition, you can customize how many posts appear on
this newswire if you are concerned about posts falling off the front
page. All of this can be customized from a web-based administration
tool with password authentication.

sf-active runs completely on templates, so you can customize the UI
any way that you want pretty easily, without knowing much PHP code at
all (just html).

If you have other questions about sf-active, just drop me a line.
