Hi everybody,
My name (pseudonym actually) is Ben Seattle. I was invited to
this list by (I think) a member of the editorial collective after
I made the following comments on the "Shameful fruits of
localism" post at
http://seattle.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=35008
> The discussion of policy (policy changes, policy
> arguments, etc) should be more accessible to readers. This
> could be handled in a separate forum or even an email list
> (with public archives).
The editorial member told me about this list and added:

Ok. I have done so. I have posted a mock-up of a modified front
page at:
http://struggle.net/ben/2003/sea-imc-mockup.htm
This page also links to a mock-up of another page which makes it
easy for readers to see these email archives and join this list.
I may also have some additional comments (maybe later tonite)
about the "Shameful fruits" thread.
I will also add, as a brief introduction, that I am a local
activist who has been active for a long time. Probably many of
you who have been to one or more major mass actions in the last
year or two have seen my leaflets.
Sincerely,
Ben Seattle
