hi everyone,

i had dinner last night with dana lyons? do people know him? www.cowswithguns.com. he's a folk hero/singer/voice of the movement and the earth. his next cd is coming out and he's looking for a venue in seattle. he mentioned the imc and i was like of course! we haven't talked about it being a benefit for the imc, but i imagine he woudl be really into it. i was thinking if he wanted to do that, we could perhaps have that night as the salmon feast.....we've still got wild copper river salmon for our big mega party. so music, name musician, salmon, etc.

i'll be figuring out the dates, but it seems like the end of november ish. i will let folks know.

and will find out about whether it can be a benefit for the imc. we didn't quite get to that cause we were busy hearing about our friend who is saving hundreds of thousands of acres up in alaska from being devastated by a coal mine. very exciting.

so a heads up......

parties, gatherings, fundraisers, music. merging..

also, i have been talking to the bellingham folks about our 4 year anniversary party and us throwing a fundraiser. i think we need to strategize a bit on the nov 30 film, the 4 year anniversary party, the mega fundraiser bash and bringing all the regional imcs together around that time as well. i told seth that it would be a fundraiser for the imc. so we may want to do a separate little thing for all imc people and not have any money involved.

but gathering the region together....is a good idea.

xo
